Although North Goa has a reputation for being a party place, South Goa sightseeing is where people find time to relax and rejuvenate their senses. Check out these great places to visit in South Goa for that punch!

Best places to visit South Goa:

The fast pace of life, exotic beaches and historic villages attracts solitude in the search for travelers from all over the world to Goa. The second most important city, Margao begins the coastal cycle of South Goa. South goa can be the best choice for a lazy person also if he loved to lay around the beaches and enjoy day and night.

1.Palolem Beach

The cracks in the palm trees, the slums, and the long, clean shores of the white sands are impressive! It is also famous for its famous Silent Disco found on the beach. Alternatively, you can enjoy water sports, swimming, and yoga. This is one of the most popular tourist destinations in South Goa.

2.Polem Beach

4.Hollant Beach

6.Colva

Use your interactive skills here and buy your loved ones great gifts. Let’s buy flashlights, dance around the market to add air to the area, it is one of the best places in South Goa to visit. Tourists and hippies are attracted to the market because of all the good things found here. You should also check out this quirky market on your trip to South Goa.

How to get there: C elevators, buses, public transportation

Hours: 9am to 5pm.

We recommend purchasing Kwa: Chim at Palolem beach and Fat Cat en Route to Patnem.

7. Se Cathedral

Asia’s largest cathedral has five bells, of which one is gold — the most famous and the largest in the world. The cathedral was built by the Portuguese to celebrate the victory of their army and the Islamic army in 1950. The church buildings are in the Portuguese-manueline style where the Tuscan exterior is highly acclaimed by the Corinthians.
